Finally God is proving justice. My 17 year old son was sentenced to 60 years in prison for having TEEN CONSENSUAL SEX. Go to www.freebrandon.org for the whole story. My son had never been in any kind of trouble with the law. Was a straight A student when this happened. I am not saying that these two young kids were wrong, but he did not deserve 60 years!!!! BANALES TALKING TO THE MEDIA AND PRESENTING HIS SIDE OF THE STORY

Banales has chosen to open up and speak with the media. Is, as many lawyers are suggesting, this a violation the Canon of Judicial Ethics?

Did Judge Banales talking with Joseph Ramirez on radio violate those same ethics that judges are questioning. Reportedly on JOseph Ramirez' show on MAGIC 104.9 FM, the judge bared his soul and raged against those that would cross him. Can a judge do this? Does anyone have a recording of this show in order to get permission from the Lopez family broadcasting to be able to load it up on this site.

Reportedly, County Commissioners court sources indicate that Judge Banales gave a scathing review and also blasted the Court of Appeals Judges and Judge Sturn for stating he was improper in some way.

BOB JONES 1440 KEYS THIS MORNING! RUNNERS REVEALED

This morning much to the dismay of the political and legal machines and powers that be I appeared on Bob Jones' show on 1440 KEYS on AM radio from 7 to 8 a.m. Here are the highlights:

El Defenzor revealed the legal scheme to fund not only lawyers but also politicians and keep the Democratic party afloat:

Simply put I discussed the role of "runners" or people who go and pickup cases and take them to a lawyer (generallya referring attorney) who then cleans the cases by referring them to another attorney who is generally a trial attorney. The split here in South Texas according to my sources is generally 50/50.

I discussed the Huerta mystique and the enigma that he was. Preacher, father, businessman and lawyer who kept his runners under his thumb, kept the Catholic church enthralled as well as the public with the religious movement. I discussed his children and staff taking down and dismantling his television presence and ministry in less than 48 hours at Mr. Lopez' station.

I also discussed the lawsuits that the Huerta firm have had from Mr. Rene Rodriguez on Joseph Huerta and the Gonzalez firm from the valley suing Huerta Law Firm for soliciting. Additionally the role of Bill Edwards was discussed and his interviews on KZTV Action 10 news with broadcast journalist Andy Lescano on July 23, 2009 regarding runners as well as the controversial youtube video (search term William Edwards).

I will continue my investigation. As part of a possible book and documentary I will be investigating the phenomenon of runners in South Texas and the structure in place. i.e., runners get cases, lawyers make the money, lawyers then contribute to certain candidates and fund the Democratic party. Now with the Celis issue, the Republicans are storming the castle to weaken the Dem party by weakening their main source of contributions: lawyers.

One disclaimer: I am not saying that all lawyers engage in getting cases through the use of runners. Most lawyers I know adhere to the mandate that cases cannot be solicited in any manner.

Lastly, I talked about judicial races and in my opinion how Juan "RFK" Reyna and Tina Trevino will be formidable opponents in judicial races for the Republicans and that Angelica Hernandez has officially resigned 7 days ago from the D.A.'s office and will be setting her sights on the Democratic primary against Manuel Banales. Banales may have made a fatal error by sticking his neck out too far for Celis and making the hypocritical and ridiculous statement that he thinks the jail's are overcrowded.

A White Knight Coming to Run Against Banales

It is whispered that a 36 year old lawyer with bipartisan support is raising a large amount of money to make a run against Manuel Banales. What is also reasonably believed is that Watts and Vela may join forces to aid him. Who is this Obama-like creature who lurks in the shadows and wishes to straddle power in the 105th?. The revelation will come soon enough. And when that seal is broken perhaps a "just reign"(Divinci Code hint my friends) will occur in Nueces County once again. Soon enough we shall discover who this man who is above reproach and who's reputation is blemishless and who will be conquered and will announce and bring out all the truth which will uncover all of the corruption with full state and federal support. Many are already trembling. Beware he comes soon. What we do know that it is a short list of young hispanic males who perhaps have thrown their hat in before or have contemplated it. IS BANALES VIOLATING JUDICIAL ETHICS BY HAVING HIS CONTROLLER BARGER EMPLOY ALL HIS FAMILY?

In the latest whispers prior to Maximum Manuel defending his seat, it is said that his controller Darrel Barger for years has appeared in front of Banales while employing all his children at the Barger firm? Pura Latina is on the case and a judicial complaint is being contemplated. Lawyers from Houston contacted seem to conclude this is a violation of the judicial ethics and a total conflict that many lawyers on the opposite side apparently had no clue about.

More to come. I smell political season and Maximum Manuel is going to face the election of his life. His opponents and potential people against him are legion.

Hello. Now on to Politics

I want to say that in the next few postings if I may I would like to leave a political footprint in analyzing the politics that happened this year.

HOw could a white male beat a Hispanic female?
Peggy Banales as nice a lady as she is left people with a huh? when she talked and the Fair Grounds issue really made people mad, mad, mad. What did she do for the people on the West side? Not a darn thing apparently. Water under the bridge but I hope the new commissioner does not forget about Latinos on the West side and instead of like Peggy Banales who truth be told was a puppet for Robstown and went along with whatever Commissioner Betty Jean Longoria wanted but also gave Robstown (good people) a little too much from her own people As they say Candilar in la calle y escura en la casa( lighting up the neighborhood but forgetting your house). Narrow margin.

What about Hubby? I hear in the Latino pipeline he is drawing a female Hispanic. It is going to get interesting.

Judges: New Judge Shamsie. I heard he is working with kids and their parents and although has big shoes to fill is doing his best.

Repubicans: Keep banging at the door here in South Texas. Don't let them break down the door like Peggy did and screwed up the commissioners court. Hijo Le!
