MAURICIO'S CASE FOLDING?

What does the witch doctor say about the Mauricio Celis case? Going down in flames or not?
22 counts and I think he will take a hit on at least some. Poor Mauricio. "The rich white lawyers want to run away from him and when it is too late he will ask for a deal said an anonymous source"
TONY: "CARLOS TAKE IT EASY"
CARLOS:"GOD, THOSE ENCHILADAS AT LUNCH TASTED AS BAD AS THE CEDULA ALIBI"
TIME WILL TELL.....

Amparo Law? Sounds like my aunt and how she runs the house. Mauricio played fast and lose. Every phonebook had an asterisk licensed in Mexico: Misleading and deceptive. Whos the democratic judge who let evidence about the grades and transcripts in Mexico not be allowed. He had a great idea but he never finished it. He screwed up. He could have paid someone to take the courses for him in Mexico. Messed up. Its over.

He just got greedy, bottomline. Way too much money though for the gringo lawyers to have turned their back on Mauricio. Everyone made money off Mauricio. Where are the emails, texts, faxes when a death case happens and they were running down the case. that's what they need to run and get everyone's cell phone from the wannabe lawyers. Let's see what is what.

From who?

Tony Canales had the impossible puzzle.
1) 23 major counts is hard to go up against
2) The theme was that it was political then why didn't you introduce the videos that the republicans put out (campaign ads) burning Mauricio, plus Abel and Juan Garcia. That would have helped and showed it was political. Some say this was a big mistake. Tony should have capitalized on this them. Should have called Jeff Butler to the stand and Mr. Bertuzzi the Republican warriors who put up and defended the negative campaign ads. Bottomline, this whole case was created by the establishment to get Mikal out of the race, to gut him, they are all sharks and they all eat other. Mauricio could bring down Watts as Senator. All of these white lawyers want to be king of the mountain and champion of the world. They did not want Mikal to be King Kong. They needed Mauricio and Watts broken up: no more Mauricio, no more Firestone cases. Move up the other law firms that wanted him out and Thomas J. Henry was the key to hurt Mauricio and carefully fed information was sent to the San Antonio Light. If the trial lawyers had put this much effort into devouring one of their own as they did in proposition 12 the laws would not have shot all the community in the foot and the courthouse doors would not have closed.
True dat. Mauricio was a pawn in their game and Tony whether deliberately or not protected the trial lawyers and Mauricio took the fall. Unless one juror will buy the conspiracy and he's a Mexican lawyer deal Mauricio is sunk. ONly Tony could get away with this thin crappy defense. Jurors return verdict in a couple of hours tomorrow either way.

Oh, we know Mauricio got the cases from Mexico and Watts, Sico, and all the other big shots used Mauricio to run the cases, paid Vance Owen and they knew Vance Owen was paying Mauricio. Carlos never called these guys. Probably didn't need to, but don't insult the publics intelligence by turning the other way and ignoring that Mauricio was not a lawyer.

Jurors all hispanic, 5 females. Canales put on a good performance and who knows the juror may be eating out of the palm of his hand. Hard to tell what they will do behind closed doors. REally interesting. How the case evolved into issues of Mexican law. That discussion is a red herring. For whatever reason that's where the testimony goes and can create a lot of reasonable doubt.

Sometimes even the most researched and prepared defenses are orchestrated to appear in a most peculiar light. No doubt "Two Fer" and Jo Ellen Hewins did their homework. The defense strategy worked around certain "prioritized pylons" and the surreptitious collusion thereof. I will compare Two Fers Defense Strategy to one Texas Attorney who employed the trial strategy of sleeping through the trial http://www.law.com/jsp/article.jsp?id=1166090720926

Heck it may even work,..... but I doubt it. Personally I say Mauricio is an obnoxious human being and kind of dumb when it comes to any other law other than PI / wrongful death BUT in my eyes this is not about Mauricio Celis it is more about Watt was not said. One can always read an attorney by Watt he isnt saying and by Watt he ignores.

We have a lot of that going on in this trial. Watts, Vance Owen who introduced Celis around DC and South America we got the same attorneys who were the lead attorneys in prominent firestone cases, also the attorney who represented Cheney in his criminal indictment of late, we have the exodus of the Mexican Consulate from CC. Now I think we have here what insiders like to call a housekeeping issue. I hope he is found innocent because he could have never convincingly performed as a legally trained person would. He had many an attorney enable him and I would venture to include T J Henry in the bunch as well. Watt are they NOT saying?
